About our project: the story of Fulgur

Fulgur grew out of a simple goal: to create a stable, comfortable place to play where fair survival, reasonable moderation and respect for the community matter.

  1. 2014–2016

    How it started

    The idea for the project began back in 2014. At the time, I, the current creator of Fulgur, was an ordinary player looking for the ideal modded server.

    But I kept running into the same problems: unjustified item bans, unreasonable administration or sudden server shutdowns that erased hundreds of hours of survival.

    In 2016, the first thoughts about creating my own truly comfortable place to play began to take shape: early concepts appeared, modpacks were tested and the name itself was born.

  2. 2017–2020

    First steps and the modded era

    In 2017, the Fulgur project officially opened its doors. Our first step was a modded server running Minecraft 1.7.10.

    In that format, the project successfully ran for three years and brought together the first loyal community of players who valued stability.

  1. 2020–2021

    Moving toward classic gameplay

    By 2020, heavy modded packs were starting to lose relevance. To keep moving forward, we made the decision to radically change the direction of the project.

    In 2021, we launched our first private vanilla server on version 1.16.5. The focus shifted fully to clean classic survival, trust between players and freedom of action.

  2. 2023–today

    Fulgur today

    In 2023, the server went through major changes and gained the structure you see now.

    Today, Fulgur is a steadily developing Minecraft server network with multiple modes. We run without interruptions, keep improving and strictly preserve the principles set at the very beginning: fair play, reasonable behavior and respect for our community.
